Press release Wellsville

The Huskies traveled to Wellsville Thursday to take on a massive field of 374 runners!  They didn't let the masses deter them from what they were there to do, compete and bring home hardware.  They also set a new school record.

For the 7th grade girls Caroline Clarke brought home the lone medal finishing 19th.  Haylee Weese missed medals by 2 spots, finsihing 27th.  Ava Yager was 34th, Aaliyah Kerby 52nd, and Marissa Wise was 79th.  The girls finished 5th as a team.

For the 7th grade boys medalists were Gilan Brown finishing 3rd, Parker Walion in 5th, and Jackson Rhea 15th.  Gilan and Parker both broke the school record, which is now owned by Gilan at 12:27.93.  Rounding out the performances were Aleko Khundadze in 49th, Avonte Peppers in 64th, Brooklyn Waswa in 65th, Chase Anderson in 96th, Jack Lloyd in 111th, Connor Peterson in 113th, and Atticus Adams in 115th.  The boys brought home a 3rd place team finish.

The 8th grade girls put Brenley Cunningham in 9th.  Trinity Hudson was 30th, Dakota Konzem was 39th, and Elizabeth Fiedler was 63rd.  The girls finished in 5th place as a team.

The 8th grade boys were led by Landon Comstock in 5th, and Carter Beasley in 17th. Ben Pahls missed medals by 1 spot again finishing 26th. Rounding out the performances were Nate Wilson in 52nd, Cole Darby 53rd, Diego Erives, Chris Lewis 59th, Eric Massaro 63rd, Aidan Harris 67th, Nick Johnson in 69th, and Jason Pitts in 71st.  The 8th grade boys finished 3rd as a team.

The Huskies are back in action Saturday at home. We hope to see a lot of support!
