We'd like to take a minute to thank you for a wonderful season. We have enjoyed coaching you and seeing you grow and improve as runners! The awards ceremony will be October 28th at 6:00 in the auditorium.
For the return of uniforms, if you could launder them and return them in a plastic sack (Wal-Mart bags work great) with your name on them.

Press release Eudora
The Huskies finished their season Thursday with the Eudora Invitational and League meet. The evening started out pleasant, but there was a chill in the air by the end. The Huskies brought home invitational and league honors.
The seventh grade girls had two medalists. Evie Watkins finished in 6th and Maddie Carman in 13th. Both earned league awards, bringing home 4th and 9th respectively. Libby Fry was 32nd, Ellie Rhea 34th, Kylee Melton 38th, Maggie Sloss 40th, Karla Salas 44th, Meredith Lewis 48th, Sofia Tortolero 55th, Lauren Deer 58th, Dani King 67th, and Janet Nwofor 68th. The girls team finished 5th.
The seventh grade boys had only Robert Falkner in medals. He brought home 8th overall and 7th for league. Seth Greener was 31st, Benton Eimers 42nd, Danny Wahl 44th, Gage Davis 47th, Asher Bowyer 57th, Nathan Smith 60th, Connor Postel 61st, Spencer Wu 85th, Austin Ross 90th, and Jackson Myers 92nd. The boys team finished in 6th place.
The 8th grade girls finished with Caroline Clark in 28th and Ava Yager in 34th.
The 8th grade boys had 3 invitational and league medalists. Gilan Brown was 4th in invitational and 2nd in league and Parker Walion was 7th in invitational and 5th in league. Jackson Rhea finished in 27th, Josh Davila in 48th, Carson Hilton in 49th, Chase Andersen in 70th, Atticus Adams in 72nd, Lukas Fitzpatrick in 75th, Jack Lloyd in 78th, and Abenezer Worku in 79th. The team finished 3rd as team.

Fun run: there will be a 1mile race at 5:30
for any K-8 non-cross country runners.
Other schools are invited to participate. Top 3 boys & 3 girls medal.

Medals will be awarded after the races are completed at awards ceremony located
by softball field. (Top 15 in 7G, 7B, 8G, 8B receive medals).
League medals: League medals and
ribbons will be presented to the top 10 runners in 7G, 7B, 8G, 8B (top 3 receive medals, 4th-10th receive ribbons).

Press release-Baldwin
The Huskies traveled to Baldwin early Saturday morning for their meet. It was a very cool fall morning, perfect conditions for running! The Huskies did not disappoint. Evie Watkins set a new 7th grade girls record for the 2 mile, running a 14:27.81 and Robert Falkner set a new mile record for the 7th grade boys running a 5:35.66.
For the mile race for the girls, Ellie Rhea was 14th and Kylee Melton 15th, each earning a medal. They were followed through the chute by Maggie Sloss in 33rd, Lauren Deer in 34th, Karla Salas in 39th, Meredith Lewis in 47th, Sofia Tortolero in 50th, Dani King in 82nd, and Janet Nwofor in 83rd. The girls brought home a 4th place team finish.
For the boys mile race Robert Falkner was 3rd. He was followed by Nathan Smith 31st, Gage Davis in 45th, Lukas Fitzpatrick in 57th, Spencer Wu in 58th, Jackson Myers in 60th, and Logan Evers in 62nd. The team finished 7th overall.
