Press release Wellsville

The Huskies traveled to Wellsville Thursday to take to the course again.  It was a hot windy day, with less than ideal running conditions but the Huskies didn't let that stop them from bringing home 6 medals and a second place team finish! 

For the 7th grade girls Kyleigh Bobki was the top finisher in 47th followed by Sadie Chorny in 63rd Jennifer Hernandez in 73rd, and Audra Lashley in 79th. 

The 7th grade boys again racked up the medals, claiming 25% of those awarded in their division!  Earning medals and top honors for the team was Caleb Calvin in 13th.  He was followed by fellow medalists Wrenner Brown in 15th, Zach Barnett in 17th, Grant Misse in 18th, and Isaac Hopkins in 19th.  Just missing out on the medals were Owen Massaro in 24th and Quenton Walion in 25th.  Domnic Roland finished in 32nd, Aiden Dove in 59th, Landon Turner in 63rd, Josh Yates in 73rd, Austin Smith in 81st, Dustin Evers in 91st, Jacob Riggs in 92nd, Conner Flannery in 94th, and Jhoab Orta in 96th.  The boys team was runners to Basehor-Linwood who had 35 points to their 60. 


The 8th grade girls were led by Hanna Thomas in 30th and followed by Elizabeth Guevara in 39th. 

For the 8th grade boys Brett Harding brought home the 16th place medal.  He was followed by teammates Andres Erive sin 46th, Lathan Clark in 59th, and Isaac Chrony in 60th.

The Huskies travel to Wyandotte County Park on Saturday for the Bonner Springs Invitational.
