Information for TRMS Invite




Welcome to Trail Ridge Middle School’s Cross Country Meet!

Location:  Trail Ridge Middle School- 495 East Grand Street

Parking:  Buses in lot between schools (west lot) - Parents and fans WMS east parking lot.  (we will close Grand Star lot for the morning)

Time Schedule:  (Please note that times are approximate)

7th girls                        1:30                 (1 mile)

7th boys                        1:45                 (1 Mile) following girls’ conclusion

8th girls                        2:00                 (2 miles) following 7th grade boys’ conclusion

8th boys                        2:30                 (2 miles) following 8th grade girls’ conclusion

Races:  7th graders will be running 1 mile and 8th graders will be running 2 miles.  The finish line for both races will be at the same location, as will the finish line.  Please see race maps included in this packet.  Additional race maps have been included for you to share with your athletes’ friends and family.

Medals: Medals will be given to the top 15 finishers at the conclusion of each race.  This will be done at the finish line, there is no medal ceremony.

Timing & Results: All times will be recorded by Black Squirrel Timing.  Results will be posted on their website at the conclusion of the meet.  http://www.blacksquirreltiming.com/

The Huskies traveled Thursday to Wellsville to take to the course again.  It was an amazing day with 1 record going down, two 3rd place finishers, and 1 meet champion!  The 7th graders had a challenge, running their first 2 mile race of the season.

The 7th grade girls ran first and nabbed 3 medals!  Bella Lott was the top finisher at 7th, followed by Brenley Cunningham in 11th and Trinity Hudson in 19th out of 93 runners!  Stephanie Gonzalez was 65th and Elizabeth Fielder was 85.  The team finished 4th.

The 7th grade boys brought home 2 medals.  There were 125 runners and Landon Comstock finished 3rd!  He was joined in the medals by Carter Beasley in 17th.  They were followed by Ben Pahls in 30th, Cole Darby in 49th, Nate Wilson in 73rd, Nate DeForest in 92nd, Eric Massaro in 97th, Jason Pitts in 98th, Diego Erives in 99th, Nick Johnson in 110th, and Bryson Robertson in 121st.  The team finished 5th.

Sydney Hammett brought home the lone medal for the 8th grade girls finishing in 3rd place, also good for a new school record!  The previous record was 14:15.21 and is now 14:11.70  She was followed by Kelsey Morales-Macedo in 28th, Kaylynn Melton in 34th, Maddy Riggs in 49th, Abby Everman in 52nd, Karishma Campos in 65h, Malerie Pyle in 66th, Lisa Morales-Macedo in 67th, and Ale Perez in 68th.  The girls finished 4th as a team.

The 8th grade boys showed up in a big was bringing home 4 medals.  Sergio Velazquez was the group champion grabbing the gold. He was joined in medals by Hector Guevara in 15th, Gauge Essex in 18th, and Jacob Rhoades in 19th!  Gustavo Hernandez-Sanchez finished 38th, Manny Nwofor 50th, Matthew McMillian 51st, Jacob Russell in 53rd, Noah Wise in 61st, Trent Howland in 64th, and Shane Hutchison in 65th.  As a team the boys finished 2nd!

Congrats to the Huskies on such a great outing.  On Saturday they get to be host to a few teams as they run for the first time at Trail Ridge!

Wellsville meet information


Wellsville CC Invitational September 14th, 2017



1. The meet will be held on the 40 acres located on the northwest corner of Wellsville.  The course is just east of the Wellsville Elementary School at 218 Ash Street.  This year our Fun Run for Students 6th grade and below will begin at 3:45.



2.  Bus, van, and fan parking will be very limited.  Parking for fans will be will be available in the parking lot south of the new elementary school after 3:30 pm.  The easiest parking will be located in the  student parking area north of the high school.  You will then need to walk north to 4th street, west to the end of 4th street,  then north through the gates to the running area.  Restroom facilities are located at the school.

Race times are approximate .  We will run ahead of schedule if possible.  If there is a problem with extreme temperatures, we may revise the schedule.

Press Release for WMS Invitational at Celebration Park

The Huskies traveled across town Saturday morning for their first meet of the season.  Running conditions were beautiful and the Huskies showed their stuff in their races.  Competition was led off by the 7th grade girls.  Bella Lott was the top finisher grabbing the 7th place medal.  Brenley Cunningham was 14th, Trinity Hudson was 18th, Stephanie Gonzalez was 40th, and Elizabeth Fielder was 56th.  The girls finished 5th as a team.  Next to race was the 7th grade boys.  Landon Comstock was the top finisher grabbing the 4th place medal.  He was followed by teammates Carter Beasley in 13th, Ben Pahls in 17th, Nate Wilson in 41st, Cole Darby in 48th, Justin Snyder in 56th, Eric Massaro in 67th, Nick Johnson in 68th, Diego Erives in 69th, Nate DeForest in 74th, and Jason Pitts in 80th  The team finished in 4th place.  Next up were the 8th grade girls.  Abby Everman was the top finisher in 21st.  She was followed by Kelsey Morales-Macedo in 22nd, Kaylynn Melton in 23rd, Maddy Riggs in 25th, Malerie Pyle in 24th, Lisa Morales-Macedo in 36th, and Karishma Campos in 37th.  The girls team finished in 3rd place.  Rounding out the day was the race for 8th grade boys.  Sergio Velazquez finished in 2nd place and was joined in the medals by Gustavo Hernandez-Sanchez who was 8th.  Jacob Rhoades was 15th, Gague Essex 16th, Matthew McMillian was 34th, Noah Wise 35th, Jacob Russell 36th, Trent Howland 49th, and Shane Hutchison was 57th.  The team finished in 3rd place.

It was a great day and we look forward to hitting the course again Thursday at Wellsville.
